Olfa Rotary Cutter 45mm - Fabric Cutting Tools & Equipment

Rotary Cutters are designed to cut swiftly and accurately.  Obviously we use them at Quilt Yarn Stitch mainly for cutting fabric but they are also often used in card-making and scrapbooking.  The blade is designed to safely retract when not in use which is a great feature as they are super sharp when brand new.  And because it's virtually impossible to watch children all of the time, so it's a great habit to get into, retracting your blade each time you put it down! 

A 45mm cutter can cut up to 5 layers of fabric.  This means you can layer up your fabric, ensuring that there is a straight edge and they are aligned correctly and you can accurately cut multiple strips at a time, saving you loads of time!

Olfa Rotary Cutters are designed to be used by both left and right handed users.  Replacement blades are available and are re-stocked regularly so no need to buy a new cutter.  The bright distinctive yellow makes them easy to locate in a busy crafters room - always a plus!

Blades are easy to replace, simply twisting the locking wheel in front of the old blade to remove and replace with a new blade - be careful not to lose the metal washer inside..... otherwise your blade will not sit comfortably and will cause you some cutting issues! 

Please be careful with disposal of old blades, while they may have dulled with cutting your paper or fabric, they will still be sharp enough to cut.
