This gorgeous rich cumin yellow coloured oil cloth has come from Merchant and Mills. It has a dryer finish than other oilskins so there would be no need to line your garment or your bag if you did not want to. There is no need for interfacing either. It has a matte appearance, and this type of oilskin is water resistant, so this means that the water does not completely run off it, but it will not come through to the other side either. This fabric has been treated with a vegan emulsified wax which is heat-processed into the cloth for a longer lasting finish. This material can be washed by hand, but it would need re-proofing with spray and the surface does change, so it is best to avoid washing if you can. It also does not take kindly to ironing, so a press with your finger should do. All our oilskins are sent folded unless otherwise requested. There may be an additional postage charge for oilskin if you require it to be rolled.
