The punch needle has a scale on the side to allow for crafters to choose the desired depth of the stitch or length of the loop. To use, simply thread the needle with embroidery floss or thin yarn (with the help of a threader), and punch away! The punch needle embroidery technique allows for a range of classic stitches, including looped and satin stitch. This technique will require a dense woven fabric base and embroidery hoop.
